Okasan on Fraser Street

This hidden gem on Fraser street serves homemade mom’s cooking. The photo is a simple chicken udon dish that my kid loves. The secret chef Matt who is camera shy and won’t reveal his last name made us this delicious lunch. Thank you for the chocolate mochi cakes Doris! And Somina for her wonderful service as always. Even though the servers are not Japanese, the chef is. There is also another secret about this place. You no longer have to fly to Hawaii for spam musubi. This place serves the most delicious spam musubis in Vancouver or might be the only one serving it in the Vancouver area at the moment! Their menu changes all the time with daily specials and they featured tuna poke bowls which i have tried! They also have set lunch menus where you can choose appetizers and sides with your meal.
