Phnom Penh, Cambodia

One of the most interesting thing in Phnom Penh was when we went to visit the markets. You can find ladies selling turtles. You can find grandmas grilling chicken and prawns. You can find grandpas playing instruments. You can find fruit stalls with the most exotic fruits. My favourite being the young coconuts. It’s very refreshing because of the heat and humidity there. And I came across this little boy selling shaved ice using this hand cranked shaved ice machine! I didn’t order it because I was a little worried about the water and where it came from. I believe the locals do buy it and it’s topped with fruits.
