Seattle Art Museum

If you haven’t gone yet, Kehinde Wiley’s exhibit is closing soon. I learned that his portraits discuss the statement of power especially the image of the men on horses which symbolizes power. (I listened in on an art history class teacher discussing the artist.)

Here are just a few images.

The rest of the artwork that caught our attention. What else is on right now? Light and space, Robert Raschenburg:Art and Life in Real time, Martha Rosler:Below the Surface, Art and Life along the Northwest Coast, Pacific Currents, Billabong Dreams, Rebel Rebel, the Duchamp Effect just to name a few. Please check their website for more details.
