Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

I spent a few days in KL, mostly for food. The first thing I was told as soon as I got in the cab at the airport was not to travel alone after 8pm and wander the streets. The second thing was not to get in a cab by myself after 8pm. Ok? Well, after spending a few days there, I didn’t find it was that unsafe, but thank you for the warning! I guess only the locals really know what goes on daily. As tourists,  we can never be too cautious. There are crimes in every city. After travelling around the world, I learnt to be a smarter traveller and be more aware of my surroundings.

Overall, it was an enjoyable city to be in and I wish to go back again one day. Just to mention a few attractions worth visiting: Petrona Towers, Aquaria KLCC, Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, Merdecah Square, National Museum, Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Jalan Alor, and Central Market. I couldn’t make it out to the Batu Caves.

A few photos to share. Not going to post the Petrona towers. I am sure you have all seen what it looks like and there are only so many ways to get that shot with wide angle lens.
